Unknown Jackass Of The Week!

This week's winner is a bit different. Different in the
sense that I don't know their name! Still, they are
clearly a Jackass. Let me explain. Last week, during
the Red Sox World Series Championship Parade, I
was sitting at a bar at the Providence, Rhode Island
airport. At the bar I was subjected to watching the
parade. Fair enough, I was in New England and that's
their team. Anyway, the parade was being aired on
NESN, which is the Red Sox home station. The
parade route consisted of several vehicles
containing Red Sox players on the back of them.
One of the vehicles had Red Sox first baseman and
fan favorite Kevin Youkilis. Now, it is well known,
especially by Red Sox fans and knowledgeable
baseball fans, that every time Youkilis is up to bat or
makes a great play in the field the crowed cheers
"Yooouuuuk!" It's a very popular cheer. When
Youkilis' vehicle passed the crowd, they began
cheering "Yooouuuuk!" Well, the woman announcer
on NESN didn't seem to know what it was and stated
"I don't know what's going on down there but the
crowd is not pleased with something. They are really
booing something down there. We need to find out
what's going on" Are you kidding me, lady? You are
broadcasting on the Red Sox home station, after 162
regular season games and 14 post season games
and you don't know what they are doing?! You
should be fired on the spot for such blatant
ignorance. I felt embarrassed for her to be honest.
She went on and on about trying to find out what the
crowd was "booing". I only wish I could have caught
her name, unfortunately I did not. Therefore, she will
forever be the un named BSN JACKASS OF THE
WEEK!
