Tyrus Thomas is A Jackass

This week we dipped into the NBA for our winner. You could say this
guy paid for his actions already, to top it off he earned the BSN
JACKASS OF THE WEEK! This week's winner is none other than
Chicago Bulls rookie forward Tyrus Thomas.
On February 7th, Thomas was asked about his upcoming participation
in the All Star game Slam Dunk Contest. The event has been around
for years and has seen such participants as the great Michael
Jordan. It was once a very highly touted event and a pretty big deal.
These days the slam dunk contest isn't quite as big as it was, but it's
still something NBA fans enjoy talking about. It's supposed to be an
exhibition for the fans. Yet, the ignorant Tyrus Thomas made it about
himself and not the fans. He said the only reason he was doing it
was "for the money". After being chastised in the media for his
comments and after being fined $10,000 by the Bulls he said it was a
"misunderstanding" and he was actually going to donate the money
to his high school. Please. Aren't these lame excuses that athletes
come up with getting old? We know when you're lying. There are just
too many "misunderstandings" these days. Thomas is clearly and
arrogant, selfish man who really is doing it for the money, but upon
hearing the uproar he changed his comments. Give it up man, we
know you're lying! Two days after his comments though, Thomas was
all alone in a game with a break away dunk on his hands. When he
went up to dunk the ball, he rolled his ankle and missed the dunk
completely! Sweet justice! Now it looks like he'll miss the
competition all together. So, instead of making money, he's out
$10,000! HA. For his antics on and off the court, Tyrus Thomas is the
BSN JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
