BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
|
This week's winner was easy to pick out once again. Surprisingly enough, he's
never won the award before despite his general jackassness. The man is a
menace to society and has some serious issues. Haven't figured out who I'm
speaking of? I'm talking about Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest. We all know
he's got issues right? Violence: Going into the stands in Detroit in 2004 and
fighting fans. Lunacy: Doing an interview from his car after being suspended by
the NBA in 2004 and promoting his "rap album". And of course, Ignorance: Saying
that he would stay out of trouble after he was traded by the Indiana Pacers to the
Sacramento Kings in 2006. Well, his violence struck again last week. This time it
was on his wife. Unlike his last violent attack where 23,000 people witnessed
him, he only had one witness this time, his three year old daughter. According to
police reports, at 9:30am last Monday morning Ron Artest, or should I say Ron
"Arrest" was physically abusing his wife. He threw her to the ground multiple
times and wouldn't let her get up or get near the phone to call 911. To make
matters worse, as stated, he did this all in front of his three year old daughter.
Classy. You're a great guy Ron. You have a history of violent acts. You vow to
clean yourself up, and what do you do? You attack and abuse your wife in front of
your daughter?! I GUARANTEE you, your daughter is going to turn up with some
SERIOUS issues when she gets older. I'm predicting the profession of stripper
for her, but we'll wait about 15 years to see. The one thing I do know for sure is
you NEVER, EVER lay a hand on a woman you freaking coward! The Kings
rightfully suspended Artest indefinitely. However, 7 days later, they let him
return to the team. Upon doing so, Artest said: "First, I want to apologize to my
wife, to my family." Sure, uh huh. You want to apologize to them. Words don't
take away the abuse buddy. Artest then put his head down and began to cry. I
think it was a great acting job, but nevertheless, tears streamed from his eyes.
He went on to say: "I want to apologize to the Kings, to my teammates, to the NBA,
everybody. I definitely stumbled by what happened with my family, and I took a
step back as being a father and a husband, and I'm looking forward to the day
when I can make that right." You took a step back?! Understatement of the year!
You're a JERK Artest! By the way, the only way to "make it right" is to go away.
Just leave the poor wife and daughter alone. Pay them alimony and leave them
alone! As I've state before, whenever you hit a woman, you're a jackass, add on a
terrible apology and you gain BSN JACKASS OF THE WEEK every time!
