BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
|
This week's winner has always been a jackass in a goofy, almost
comedic kind of way. However, this past week, "The U" came out of
him. Once again, our winner is from the NFL, this time it's
Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis.
As you all know by now, Atlanta Falcons quarterback, Michael Vick,
finds himself right in the middle of a major controversy surrounding
dog fighting. Vick is being investigated for being associated with, in
some form or fashion, a large dog fighting ring in Smithfield, Virginia
at a home he owns. When asked about the investigation on a
Virginia Beach news station, Clinton Portis responded with the so
very profound remarks of "I don't know if he was fighting dogs or
not, but it's his property, it's his dog, If that's what he wants to do, do
it. I think people should mind their business." Ahh, that Miami
University education coming in handy once again. Seriously, could
anyone sound more ignorant? Hey Portis, it's only a felony in 48
states, but hey, if you want to do it, do it right? Being a member of
the Miami football team you should be used to felony's by now I
guess. Portis went on to say "I know a lot of back roads that got the
dog fight if you want to go see it" He also added "if it's behind
closed doors, it's OK." It's ok to train dogs to rip eachother apart to
the death and bet large amounts on it? That's pathetic. I think we
should start pitting NFL players in death matches, starting with
Michael Vick vs. Clinton Portis. If stupidity killed, they'd both be dead
pretty quickly.
By showing his Miami University education off when commenting on
the inhumane act of dog fighting, Clinton Portis won this week's BSN
JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
