BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
|
Back to the NFL for this weeks winner. Though we normally see wide
receivers take home the honor, we had a cornerback take it this week. This
weeks winner is no stranger to legal troubles and he found himself in the
midst of more controversy again. I'm talking about Titans corner Adam
"Pac-Man" Jones.
I think we all knew he'd win the award at some point. Here's what transpired
for him to earn his name next to the likes of Terrell Owens, Tim Hardaway and
the others.
Jones, and his crew, went to Las Vegas for the NBA all star weekend. It's not
uncommon for sports stars and other celebrities to make their way out to
this event. The fact that the game was held in Las Vegas only made the
weekend more appealing for the stars, but also more likely that something
would occur. Well it did for Jones. After the game, Jones and his posse
rolled into a Vegas Strip club and had the DJ announce his arrival. Shortly
after that, Rap Star Nelly arrived and began to give the strippers dollar bills.
Dollar bills are generally what these strippers are taking their clothes off for.
I say this because, Jones started "making it rain" and began dumping dollar
bills totalling $81,000 on to the stage where up to 40 strippers were
performing. The promoter of the club began to collect the cash for the
ladies and Jones became irate. He began to claim the money was "intended
as a visual effect". It may be a "visual effect" Jones, but that money is now
the strippers money to use on pot, crack, or to spend on their three
illegitimate kids at home. It is no longer your money Pac Man! Well, Jones
became a bit upset that "his" money was being collected. He apparently
walked out of the club with an individual and then came back. When his
party was escorted out of the club, one of the females he was with began
fighting with a stripper and the individual he left the club with earlier,
supposedly opened fire and hit up to three people around the club. The
individual then fled the scene. Jones claims to have nothing to do with the
shooting. That's highly questionable when witnesses say he was with the guy
who did it. His history, three night club arrests over the past 1.5 years would
also suggest otherwise. Hey Jones, maybe you need to change your habits,
or at least the people you hang out with. You're clearly a bad seed, but
you're not being helped out by your supposed "friends". Soon enough,
Jones should find himself without a team. This type of thuggery shouldn't be
put up with from anyone. He belongs in jail. I know you played ball at West
Virginia where social normality doesn't exist, but this is the real world pal,
get it together. It is pretty evident that Jones is a menace to society, but
more than that, it quite apparent that he had to be the BSN JACKASS OF THE
WEEK!
