BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!

We had a few candidates for the award this week. There was Gary
Sheffield for mouthing off about race and Mark Cuban for thinking a new
football league can actually challenge the NFL, but our winner comes
from the world of college basketball, it is University of Florida/Orlando
Magic head coach Billy Donovan.
Donovan, the head coach at the University of Florida, the two time
defending champ had long been rumored to possibly leave Florida ever
since the season ended. His top 4 players are leaving for the NBA and
people wondered what more could he accomplish at the school? He's a
great coach and his options were limitless. He was rumored to go to the
University of Kentucky and the NBA, but he said weeks ago he was
staying put at UF. Then, on Friday, it was announced he accepted a five
year deal to coach the NBA's Orlando Magic. At his press conference,
after signing the contract Donovan stated: "Personally this was very
difficult for me because my 11 years at Florida were a very great 11
years, But I really looked at myself in a couple of aspects; one, the easy
decision for me personally would have been to stay at Florida, or the
next step would be to do something that would really challenge me as a
person and coach and help me grow and get better." True, time for
something new. You've accomplished everything you can at the college
level, go for a new challenge, I get that. However, on Friday night and
over the weekend, Donovan changed his mind. He decided he made a
mistake and now he wanted to go back to Florida. He has spent all
weekend trying to get out of the contract HE JUST SIGNED! Hey Billy, I
completely understand you may love the University of Florida, but why
in the hell did you sign a contract with the Magic if that's the case?!
Don't you think you should have thought about this beforehand? All the
reports now say that he will indeed get out of his contract and go back
to Florida, but if you ask me, he looks like a total moron and that is why
Billy Donovan won this week's BSN JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
