BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!

The winner this week doesn't typically operate in the world of sports,
but he decided to voice his opinion on a sports subject and earned
himself the Jackass of the Week honors in the process of doing so.
This week's winner is none other than long time radio personality Don
Imus.
On his morning radio commute show Don Imus decided to voice his
"observations" on the women's college basketball championship
game the night before. He had apparently seen the game between
Rutgers and Tennessee and noticed that the Rutgers team which is
predominantly African American looked like a bunch of "nappy
headed ho's". (full video can be seen below) People have been fired
for saying much less than this. It's not only racist, but it's sexist too!
Imus went for the two for one shot! How can you be in radio as long
as you have and say something as ignorant as that?! Apparently this
isn't the first time he's made racist remarks either. How is he still on
the air? But of course, just like every other public personality, Imus
put out the standard BS apology. "[I] want to take a moment to
apologize for an insensitive and ill-conceived remark we made the
other morning regarding the Rutgers women's basketball team. It was
completely inappropriate, and we can understand why people were
offended. Our characterization was thoughtless and stupid, and we
are sorry." We? What do you mean we? YOU, YOU are the one who
said the remarks, there is NO "we"! Nice attempt at diverting some of
the negative criticism away from yourself, but it's all on you clown.
For is lack of judgement and utterly ignorant racial and sexist
remarks, Don Imus EASILY earned the BSN JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
