The Dallas Cowboys Are Jackasses!

This week is a collection of players. Usually the Jackass of the Week had
some sort of run in with a fan, reporter or most often the law. This week,
this collection of jackasses didn't have any run ins with any of the
aforementioned entities. These guys just blew there chance in the playoffs
after being the best team in the NFC all year. I'm obviously referring to the
Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys posted a 13-3 regular season, tying the franchise mark for
most regular season wins, they earned the number one seed in the NFC
and a bye. During the bye week, their coach, Wade Phillips told their
players to "get their minds off of football". Not smart Wade, you have the
playoffs coming up, probably the most important time in the world to be
THINKING ABOUT FOOTBALL! The off season is just around the corner now,
win or lose, the Super Bowl is only a matter of 3 weeks away! Think football
now, rest later. Unfortunately for the Boys, the left their brains on vacation.
Tony Romo went to Mexico with his well publicized air head girlfriend
Jessica Simpson. I don't know if they ate chicken or tuna in Mexico, but
they clearly forgot that Romo had to come back to play a game this past
week. He only completed 50% of his passes and threw an interception in
the end zone to end the game and the Cowboys season.
Meanwhile, Terrell Owens, a favorite of the JOTW segment, was giving
interviews to Deion Sanders during the bye week. He told Sander to tell the
American Public that he was going to have a big game and that we should
"get your pop corn ready". Ready for what? To watch you catch all of 4
passes? Yeah, that was a real show. We'll get back to T.O. later. I need to
hit on the defense right now. The Cowboys took the lead in the first half
with 53 seconds remaining 14-7. The Giants came out and attacked them
and marched 71 yards, aided by a personal foul by Dallas to tie the Game at
14-14 in a 38 second span! That's poor defense. Dallas went on to lose the
game, 21-17. After the game, T.O. was in front of the cameras and literally
cried as he stated: "You can point the finger at him (referring to Romo), you
can talk about the vacation, and if you do that, it's really unfair. That's my
teammate. ... We lost as a team." (see below) You sure did T.O. you lost as a
team, and you know what else you did as a team? You became the BSN
JACKASSES OF THE WEEK! Enjoy it, that's the only thing you guys are
winning this year!
