BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
This guy has always seemed arrogant to me. He's always seemed a little too
hyped up and aggressive and it's possible we now know why, it seem
s he was
roiding up. I'm talking about Roger Clemens. Though, he's not necessarily this
week's winner for taking steroids, as it's alleged he has, he's a jackass for the
way he's handled the situation ever since it's come out in the now infamous
Mitchell Report.
Ever since the Mitchell report was released with statements in it from former
Blue Jay and Yankee trainer Brian McNamee saying he personally injected
Roger Clemens with steroids and HGH 16-21 times since 1998, Clemens has
denied it profusely. The problem is, Clemens best friend, Andy Pettite was also
named and he came out and admitted he had it injected by McNamee.  Clemens
denies knowing about this, however that seems a bit shady as these two guys
are attached at the hip. They both pitched for the Yankees in the late 90's, went
to Houston together to pitch a few years and then they both came back to the
Yankees last year together. They train together, room together and play catch
together, they know what the other one is doing. Clemens said he hadn't been
injected with anything, he then turned around on 60 minutes and stated he had
been injected by McNamee with B-12 and Lidocaine shots.  Sure you were,
Roger. You can take B-12 in pill form, who would choose to inject it rather than
ingest it?  Nobody. Who likes needles?  Nobody. You're lying Clemens. If
Clemens were telling the truth, why did it take him over a month since the
release of the report to speak at all? All statements up until this past week
were made through his legal representatives.  Reason being, they know how to
spin words, Clemens does not.  Lastly, Clemens called McNamee on Friday and
TAPED the conversation and had it played today at his press conference. There
is speculation that McNamee didn't even know his conversation was being
taped. That's illegal!  Furthermore, every time Roger said to McNamee he just
wants the truth to come out, McNamee never once said he was lying in the
report. He said he was sorry to Clemens, and asked him what he could do, but
never did he say to Clemens that he was sorry for lying or that he made it all up.
Seriously, what does McNamee have to gain by lying about this? Nothing. He
told the truth, Clemens is guilty and now he's also guilty of lying and wasting
the publics' valuable time with these ploys of propaganda to try to sway us into
believing he didn't do it. Clemens, you cheated, you lied, and you are the BSN
JACKASS OF THE WEEK!
