BSN'S JACKASS OF THE WEEK!

This week's winner was an obvious choice. He comes
from the NFL world again, only this time it isn't one of
the players. It's a head coach! You all know who I am
referring to, Patriots Head Coach Bill Bellichick.
Everyone knows the story by now, so I won't drag it
out, but let's face it, he got busted for cheating. Yep,
this new "Vince Lombardi", "genius" and "unmatched"
coach got caught for filming opposing teams sidelines
to steal signals as they were sent in the games. The
NFL rules clearly state that all teams are BANNED from
filming other teams sideline activities yet Bellichick
explained the event as a "misinterpretation of the
rules". That's absurd. Are we to really believe he
misinterpreted the word BANNED? Basically Bellichick
is trying to say the whole thing was serendipitous and
let's move on. Not so fast coach. You already got
caught cheating by filming the sidelines, now there are
rumors that are stating you have been planting
microphones on your players to steal audibles and that
you have video and audio footage on every coach in
the entire NFL. You have already admitted that you
have been doing this since you were anointed head
coach of the Pats! Very interesting, isn't it? I think
that we need to really put an asterisk next to your
name and your "accomplishments" as a coach. I'm not
suggesting taking anything away from the players who
had no knowledge of this and went out and played
their tails off to achieve what they did, but you have
seriously tarnished your name, the Pats legacy and the
league itself. In a time when off field issues are at a
premium in the NFL, the league certainly didn't need to
deal with some on field scandal such as this. Coach
Bellichick, you are CLEARLY the BSN JACKASS OF THE
WEEK!
